Hello and welcome
My name's Jacqueline and I welcome you to my world of mixed media creativity.
My website is currently a work in progress as I am moving away from hiding behind 'Look What Jacq Made' and using my real name. I've kept some of the pages live - but others are hidden as I carry out the required maintenance work.
Sign up below to receive my new newsletter (also a WIP) and I will let you know when 'normal service' has resumed!

Exhibition 1 - 29 July 2023
I discovered Lindsay Jean Thompson’s ‘The 100 Day Project’ in 2021 and was introduced to the practice of a small act of creativity every day from February through May.
This year I have chosen the coast as my theme: the place I go to re-fill my creative cup - my soul place and happy place. I am obsessed with finding holey pebbles (theme of my 100-day adventure last year) and am never happier than when paddling and searching for treasure on the tideline or watching the boats in a harbour.
This year’s project is the catalyst for my first solo exhibition: ‘100 Days of Vitamin SEA’ which has been created in my studio (aka the kitchen) in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. I have created three series of works and am excited to have these shown together in July.
My current art practice focuses on exploring mixed media and you will see work on wood panels ranging from representational to more abstracted perspectives that embrace colour, shape and line – playing between physical presence in the moment and the emotion and memory of being on the tide line.
The coast as a regenerative soul place is not unique to me, and I hope that the works on display will resonate with a remembrance in you - of the magic and delight that can be found at the edges of our wonderful island home.
I will be at Emerald on the opening morning of the exhibition(1 July 2023) from 10am to 12noon. Please do pop by and say hello. I can't wait to share my new work with you.
